‘Hashem is close to all who call upon Him’

As we approach this year’s Gibraltar Girls High School Tehillimathon, we are reminded of the extraordinary כֹּחַ הַתְּפִלָּה — the power of Tefillah — and the precious gift of being able to turn to Hashem at any moment: to thank Him for the countless blessings in our lives, to share our deepest hopes, and to ask for His Beracha and Yeshua for ourselves and for those around us.

There is something especially powerful about reciting Tehillim together. When Jewish women unite in Tefilla, our individual prayers become part of a heartfelt communal plea. On this special day, we join thousands of women around the world, drawing inspiration from Rachel Imeinu ע״ה and uniting in prayer. Each verse offers an opening to connect with Hashem, express our gratitude, and plead for those in need.

The GGHS Tehillimathon is an opportunity for our entire community to take part. Please support our girls generously and submit the names of anyone you would like included in our prayers. Your support makes you a partner in our shared mission: to bring more prayer, gratitude, and connection with Hashem into our lives and our community.

Whether we are praying for Refuah Shelema, success in our endeavours, a marriage partner, children, Parnassah Tova, or any other personal need, every name entrusted to us will be included with care, respect, and sincerity.

May our united prayers be received favourably, and may we all merit Yeshuot Gedolot, Refuah Shelema, and Besorot Tovot.
